From May 10th to May 12th, 2024, the second edition of the first Italian festival dedicated to oysters will take place in La Spezia.

It’s a unique opportunity to delve into the world of this exquisite sea fruit, appreciate its quality and variety, and discover the secrets of its cultivation. Admission to the event is free and will take place along the beautiful Passeggiata Morin, the city’s picturesque waterfront promenade.

Oyster farmers’ stands, workshops, and much more will be present from all over Italy and abroad. There will be tastings dedicated to oysters paired with fine Italian wines. The aim is to promote the Italian oyster farming industry, encourage mindful consumption, and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the marine environment. There will also be conferences with industry experts and guided tastings with Michelin-starred chefs.
